and depart for Edirne.

Edirne,
the ancient Hadrianapolis (Adrianople),
and the capital of Tharace (bordering on Greece and
Bulgaria) was founded in 125 A.D bye the Roman Emperor,
Hadrian. It had an important role as the gateway from
Europe to East. It was from her that Constantine set out
to defeat Licinius and Frederick the Great known as
Barbarossa stopped here with the Third Crusade. In 1363,
for a century, Edirne became the capital of Ottoman
Empire.
We will visit Üc Şerefli Camii, Selimiye Camii,
Ethnographic and Archaeological Museum.
